- If you don't have a captain before you get there, you are probably doing something wrong.

- There is no transportation provided between islands and swimming is treacherous. Make friends for rides and make sure you have a solid plan to get home at the end of the night or you might be sleeping in the cold. If possible bring your own small watercraft.

- Water is dangerous, intoxication greatly increases the danger. Someone who lived on boats most of their life drowned in the Alameda marina earlier this year while drunk. Expect to have fun while mostly sober most of the time.

- Don't make Alaric call you dumb.
